The Boggione family has owned and tended 1.2 hectares of old vines in the heart of Brunate since the 1950s and sold the grapes to Borgogno and then later to Ceretto and Chiarlo. Now, in the third generation of family ownership, Claudio Boggione decided to bottle his own wine beginning with the 2006 vintage. Boggione's vines range in age from 50 to 70 years. Fermentation is done with ambient yeast in cement vats. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is aged in 25-hectoliter botti until bottling..
