Alberto Nanclares works just 2 hectares of vineyards comprised of 8 tiny parcels in the town of Cambados, located right on the Atlantic Ocean in the prime Val do
Salnes subzone of Rías Baixas, the original home of Albariño. The full Atlantic exposure gives his Albariños a uniquely brisk and saline character. The soils are sand and granite. The vineyards are trained in pergolas and he manages to have biodynamic practices in a truly difficult climate. No malolactic, great aging potential.
