In 1996 John and Nicole Bojanowski, purchased Clos de Gravillas in the Minervois regionwith the goal of making wine to best reflect the terroir of limestone gravel of their vineyards. L'Inattendue is a full, dry, rich, and complex wine that is also herbal and creamy with minerality and acidity on the finish. The Grenache is fermented and aged 12 months on lees in 400- liter barrels made from oak trees harvested in Allier forest. Perfect for fish dishes and strong cheeses. A serious white.
