Montevertine is the one of the few in Chianti that has stood up amongst the rest. He has been producing wines of elegance from Tuscany's noble varietal Sangiovese for years. The wines are considered super-Tuscan because they carry the Rosso Toscano name but are classic expressions of Chianti from it's sub-region of Radda. This wine sees 24 months in botti (large oak casks) and is serious and masculine expression of red fruit with a finish of pure excellence.
