The Valle brothers bought the farm at the end of 1998. They work tirelessly to maintain a freshness and bright red fruit in their wines in a harsh climate that produces most times over-ripe stewed fruit and high alcohol. Instead all of their wines are delicate, simple, and have his fingerprint style of well balanced, wild strawberry and bright laced Sangiovese. Umberto vinifies both in stainless and cement, and depending on the wine, ages in cement or botti. Passera is a Morellino, from the younger vines, aged for a much shorter period. It is a wine intented to be drank young and fresh.
