Roberto Olivan is a fourth generation vine grower in the hamlet of Viñaspre in the Rioja Alavesa. He farms his 22 different plots organically, does his own massale selection and goblet pruning. In the cellar he uses only indigenous yeast, pigeage by foot in old wooden barrels and very little use of sulphur. His utterly conservative approach to both farming and wine making puts him in the true vanguard of the region. This cuvee shows elegant purity and lovely acidity.Only 6900 bottles were produced.
