Pepe Raventos farms organically his family estate near Barcelona in the valley of The Anoia River, a place so unique he is trying to get its own Appelation. The soils are calcareous, some gravel and some red clay. Each plot is planted with the varietal more suitable for soil and microclimate. De Nit's color comes from Monastrell, planted in 1974, it was aged in bottle for 15 months and the disgorging date is stated on the back label.
